GI Symbol Program
The Glycemic Index (GI) Symbol Program is a food labelling program from Australia that aims to help people make informed food choices by the use of an easily recognisable symbol on foods.

This is the University of Sydney Australian GI Database. You can search their database for the glycemic index of common foods. "The glycemic index of food is a ranking of foods based on their immediate effect on blood glucose (blood sugar) levels. Carbohydrate foods that breakdown quickly during digestion have the highest glycemic indexes."
