Our Registered and Licensed Dietitians are trained in providing the most current nutrition therapies and counseling.   Our services provide options for tailoring the sessions to your personal needs!

 

Initial Visit and Evaluation

In efforts to tailor our nutrition education and counseling services to your individual needs, it is recommended that an initial visit be completed as the beginning of your journey with us.   This initial visit is approximately 1 to 1 ½ hours in length where we will discuss many things, including:  medical and/or nutrition history, anthropometric history ( i.e.: height/weight, etc.), supplement and medicinal history, exercise patterns, 24-hour recall (or longer history if desired), and most importantly - your nutrition and health goals!  Obtaining such a history is important for us to be able to help you set focused nutrition goals for your road to success!

 

Follow Up Visits and Options

Given that we have been able to establish a history with you through our initial visit and evaluation, we may be able to offer various options for follow up visits.   In the initial visit we will determine, with you, what an appropriate follow up time frame is for reevaluating your nutrition goals.  At this time, you may request any of the following options for follow up, in addition to traditional consultation:

· Supermarket tour, tailored to your specific nutrition needs.

· In-home cooking demonstration, tailored to your lifestyle and taste.

· Walking partner follow up visit.

· Traditional in home or office follow up.

· Your preference!

 

Anthropometric and Body Fat Tracking

For those seeking a Dietitian for weight management or sports nutrition, or if you're just interested in tracking your weights, circumferences, or body fat we can do that for you!   Your Dietitian will determine what measurements are appropriate and ideal to keep track for you though your visits, but if you're interested in additional measurements or body fat testing, please inquire with your Dietitian.

 

Body fat testing through Core Nutrition, LLC is done using traditional skin-fold measurements with Harpenden Body Fat Calipers.   Please note, that this tool is not ideal for all clients and this option should be discussed with your Dietitian.  Body fat testing is most effective for tracking weight loss or body fat loss over time.   It is recommended, for appropriate use of this information to compare measurements done every 3-4 months to track progress.

 

Menu and Recipe Analysis

If you or your company needs menu approval or recipe analysis, the Dietitians of Core Nutrition, LLC can do that for you!   We will utilize our nutrition programs and expertise to detail recipe breakdown.  If needed, we can make recommendations for healthy substitutions in your recipes tailored to your needs!

Fees and Insurance

Private Consultations

Initial Visit*               $120

Follow – Up             $20 per quarter-hour

 

*Initial Visits are all one-hour long.  It is necessary for all initial visits to be one hour in length to appropriately assess nutritional needs and goals.

 

Group Presentations

Group Presentations fees are assessed on a case-by-case basis.  Quotes may be obtained through contacting us at 937.260.9548.

 

Additional Services

Body Fat Testing $25 (included with        Private Consultation Rate)

 

Insurance

If your physician has provided a written referral for the Dietitian, we will accept insurances.  However, we may ask that you pay the full fee up front where you will receive reimbursement if the claim is accepted by the insurance company.  This is at the discretion of Core Nutrition, LLC.
